About the Author

Romanian-born writer Maria-Cristina Necula lives in White Plains, New York, and works as Director of Alumni of Affairs for her alma mater, Purchase College, SUNY. Her published works include: “The School For Wives: Translation of Molière’s L’École des femmes” (Xlibris: 2010), “Life in Opera: Truth, Tempo and Soul – Encounters With Stars, Innovators and Leaders of Today’s Opera World” (Amadeus Press: 2009), contribution and French/English translation of “L’Europe à la carte”(éditions cherche midi: 2009), “Shadows and Miracles: Poems”(XLibris: 2007) In past years, she has performed as a singer and released two CDs: “My Vie en Rose” (2009) and “One Millennium Before Sunrise” (2006).
